Biography: Kathy is the the firm's managing member, boasting more than twenty-eight years of experience in the public accounting field. She began her career working for several local CPA firms in the Washington, DC area. In 1991, Kathy returned to Pittsburgh. She joined the firm of Gray and Cumberledge in 1993, and was named a partner in 1994. Since then, she has expanded the company through acquisition of a local CPA firm in Washington, Pennsylvania. Kathy's expertise encompasses numerous practice areas and clients of diverse types and sizes. She currently resides in Forest Hills, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Jeff, and two talented sons, John and Jacob. Both boys are avid and active ice hockey players. John, 20, played for the North American Hockey League (NAHL) and will attend the University of Massachusetts - Boston in September 2011. Jacob, 15, plays for the Pittsburgh Hornets, a AAA travel team that plays at the RMU Sports Complex on Neville Island. When not traveling with her children and spending time in ice rinks, she enjoys a good book and taking walks with her dog.
